Prof. Patrick YUE was recently interviewed on RTHK Radio 1’s program Infinite Future. In the 1st episode on 15 Nov 2025, Prof. YUE shared how critical the advanced chip technology is for the development of next generation wireless and wired communications. In the 2nd episode on 22 Nov 2025, Prof. YUE talked about his valuable experience in starting up the chip design company, which was then listed on the NASDAQ, and also shared his view on training and preparing the research talents to embrace the new era of AI. Prof. YUE commented at the 2025 RISC-V Industry Development Conference and RDSA International Summit that open-source instruction sets cut licensing risks, unlock greater hardware value through architectural optimization, and help overcome limitations of device compatibility due to geopolitical risks.
