Dr. Wang obtained his Bachelor's degree in electronics from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in August 2016 and his PhD degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in November 2021. Since then, he has been a postdoctoral fellow in the IC Design Center and the Optical Wireless Lab at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research areas include wireline, mmWave, optical and IoT transceiver IC, as well as frequency synthesis and antenna design.
Dr. Wang has presented at IEEE conferences such as VLSI-C, CICC, ESSCIRC and IPC. He has published 34 papers, including 11 as the first author, and holds 2 U.S. patents and 2 Chinese patents.
From 2019 to 2020, Dr. Wang served as a Teaching Assistant Coordinator (TAC) in the ECE Department of HKUST. He was also the Chair of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Hong Kong Student Chapter from 2018 to 2021. During his service period, the Hong Kong Student Chapter received the Best SSCS Chapter Award in 2018. Additionally, Dr. Wang was awarded the SENG Top Research Postgraduate in 2018.

Dr. Wang received the B.Sc. degree in applied physics from the Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), Hefei, China, in 2015, and the M.Eng. degree in integrated circuit engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2019. In 2024, she received the Ph.D. degree in the State-Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMSV), University of Macau (UM). Her research interests are focused on the high-speed wireline transceiver design.

Dr. Hong received his M.Sc. and B.Eng. degrees in integrated circuit design engineering from HKUST and Guangdong University of Technology in 2019 and 2018, respectively. He also received his Ph.D. degree in Dept. ECE, HKUST in 2024. He was a Research Assistant with the China Electronic Product Reliability and Environmental Testing Research Institute in 2017. His current research interests include computer architecture, deep learning, and 3D computer vision.

Fuzhan received his bachelor's degree from Hefei University of Technology in 2017 and master's degree from Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2020, both in microelectronic science and engineering. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree in ECE, HKUST, under the joint PhD training program in partnership with SUSTech. His research focuses on high-speed optical and wireline communication integrated circuit design.
Fuzhan has presented at IEEE conferences such as CICC and ESSCIRC. He has published 8 papers, including 3 as the first author, and holds 1 Chinese patent. He was awarded HKUST Redbird Academic Excellence Fellowship in 2024.

Chongyun received his B.Eng. degree in electronic science and technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2020. He is now pursuing his PhD degree in ECE department, HKUST. He has presented at ISSCC-SRP and VLSI-C and holds 1 PRC patent. He served as the TAC in the ECE Department of HKUST from 2023 to 2024 and as the Chair of the IEEE SSCS Hong Kong Student Chapter from 2021 to 2024. He was awarded 2022-23 Senior Teaching Assistant Fellowship of ECE department, HKUST. His current research focuses on high-speed, low-power integrated circuit design for optical communication.

He has been working as Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering department with SCET from 2012-2014 and with University of Gujrat since 2014. His research interests include Machine Learning for optimization, Load Forecasting, EDA and Smart Power Networks.
